We are welcoming the first half of our kindergarteners today! So thankful for our PTO, who hosted our Tears and Cheers for the parents as they said goodbye to their kids on their first day!

We are off to an amazing start! So great to see our students. Big thank you to the Enumclaw Rotary for passing out pencils and to the Moore family for the amazing decorations to greet the kids and set a positive tone! It is going to be a great year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jackie Carel, who completed her final day of school of a career that spanned 41 years, all served at Westwood. Mrs. Carel's legacy and impact are immeasurable and will continue on in all that she built at Westwood. We love you Mrs. Carel, and we will miss you! Well done!

A very proud day for us as some of our Westwood EHS graduates visited our campus and connected with our staff! We couldn't be prouder of these kids, now young adults, as they prepare to receive their diploma! This is a big goal reached, for them and us! Awesome job and thank you for coming back!

This morning, Superintendent Burnes presented the School of Recognition banner to the Westwood staff. We are incredibly proud of the growth our students are making. This banner represents growth at the top 16% of schools in Washington State. This is Westwood's third year in a row to receive this recognition, which represents 2% of schools in Washington State!
