🍩Westwood Dads - you know how to show up on National Donut Day! 🍩

🍩Our last family event of the school year was a huge success. We love to see all of the dads, grandfathers, uncles and brothers on campus with their Westwood students. We had a wonderful group of mothers (and Mrs. Carel!) arrive early to help us set up - thank you!

🍩A huge thank you to Enumclaw Dental Center for sponsoring this event, as well as our local Starbucks for providing the coffee. Also, a big thank you to Branex Feed & Supply for lending us hay bales for our photo booth.

🍩This is the last PTO family event of our school year. Thank you to all of the Westwood families for the support you have given the PTO as we strive to provide assistance, funding and help to our staff, as well as opportunities to create fun and safe memories for our students. We have the BEST families at Westwood, and each day we are grateful for all that YOU do for Westwood.

This morning, Superintendent Burnes presented the School of Recognition banner to the Westwood staff. We are incredibly proud of the growth our students are making. This banner represents growth at the top 16% of schools in Washington State. This is Westwood's third year in a row to receive this recognition, which represents 2% of schools in Washington State!

Last PTO General Meeting of the Year!

Hard to believe that we are just a few short weeks from the end of another great year for Westwood and our PTO. Our last General Meeting is scheduled for this Thursday at 3:45PM in the library. We invite you all to hear about how our year went, what we plan for next year, and any ideas, comments or concerns. Our leadership team will be changing up, and we will be voting in new members, and thanking departing members for the incredible work they've done.

We still have room on the PTO Executive Board! If you are interested in learning more, we invite you to this meeting. Students are always welcome to attend as well.

🌸 We had such a wonderful turnout for Muffins with Mom this morning! A big thank you to our fabulous volunteers who showed up early this morning to help set up, including Mrs. Carel and one lone rockstar dad!
