They are asking for cash or gift card donations to purchase new clothing for the kids. Any amount helps.

Just a reminder about our giving tree, please have present wrapped with tag attached placed in the lounge by December 16th. Thank you all for supporting this family!!!

The barn will be adopting a family from the area for the Holidays again this year. We are working with Enumclaw Youth and Family Service to adopt a family of three; a mother and two daughters. We have posted on the whiteboard at the bottom of the stairs a Christmas tree with tags containing gift ideas, ages, and sizes for the family. If interested in participating, please take a tag off the tree, buy the gift, wrap it and attach the gift tag, and then drop it off on the table in the lounge upstairs by December 16th. We will deliver the gifts to the youth center the next day. If you have any questions please let us know.

Horses and Homework Camp
Fall 2020

Thunder Rail is excited to offer a Horse and small farm animal themed Fall camp, with a homework assist program. This is designed to help parents who are working or want their children to have a fun, safe opportunity to grow and learn in a creative and rewarding environment. If your child loves horses and small animals this is the camp for them.

Campers will be scheduled in small pods of 5 campers, and each day will be filled with horse and farm related activities. There will also be a blend of supplemental language arts, math, science, social studies and physical activities. Time will be spent on the campers individual learning plans following their school districts guidelines. Support and guidance will be provided to complete their daily homework assignments and virtual class/teacher meetings. We understand that each child’s needs will be unique and changing. We will strive to meet all their individual needs. As weather permits, we will offer lots of open air activities, and we will create outdoor learning spaces that will be inviting.
