🌟 **What a Fantastic Day at Our Combined Class Science Camp!** 🌟

Today, our little scientists embarked on an exciting journey of exploration and discovery! We kicked off the day by tantalizing our taste buds with a sensory tasting adventure. The kids savored:

- **Cocoa Powder** 🍫
- **Chocolate Chips** 🍪
- **Salted Chips** 🧂
- **Lemon** 🍋

This delicious experience not only delighted their senses but also helped them learn to identify flavors and textures, enhancing their sensory development.

Next, we dove into a hands-on science experiment by creating our very own **Alka-Seltzer Lava Lamps**! 🌋 The kids observed the fascinating effects of density and chemical reactions as they watched the colorful bubbles rise and fall.

**Learning Standards Met:**
- **Science Exploration:** Engaging in scientific inquiry by observing and experimenting.
- **Sensory Development:** Enhancing taste and smell recognition through food exploration.
- **Understanding Density:** Learning about the properties of liquids through hands-on experiments.
- **Fine Motor Skills:** Developing coordination while assembling their lava lamps.

🌟 Day 2 of Science Camp at Hidden Trails Forest and Farm School is here, and you know what that means—*SLIME TIME*! 🎉 Just like the gooey, green goodness we all remember from Nickelodeon, today’s activities are all about getting our hands slimy and sticky!

From mixing our own colorful concoctions to learning the science behind the squishy fun, the kids are in for a blast! 💚✨ Who knew science could be this messy and exciting? Can't wait to see all the amazing creations!

🌟 **Thursday Science Day: Potions and Ice Age Adventures!** ❄️

Today, we had an exciting double feature! We kicked off our day by brewing **magical potions** with **baking soda and vinegar**. As these two ingredients mixed, we witnessed an incredible fizzing reaction where carbon dioxide gas bubbled up, creating a spectacular visual display! This was a fun example of a **neutralization reaction**—a perfect blend of science and excitement! 🧪✨

After our bubbling fun, we cooled down with our **Ice Age Sensory Table**. Filled with icy textures and toy creatures like woolly mammoths and sabertooth tigers, kids dove into imaginative play while exploring concepts of melting and freezing. It was a fantastic way to engage our senses and spark creativity! 🌨️🧊
