After 13 wonderful years, Creative Tree will be closing it's doors. I am sad to move on from such a wonderful career, but very excited to be teaching grades 1-3 at the Enterprise SDA Christian School next year! Thank you for all the years of wonderful memories. Your child will stay in my heart forever. If anyone is looking for a wonderful Christian education in the county, Enterprise SDA Christian School is a great choice. I am blessed to teach in such an amazing school. Please reach out to me if you are interested, and I can help you with questions and getting connected.

The preschoolers created a fire pit during outside time. It was so fun watching them pretend to go camping.

The kindergarten students love writing in their journals and are starting to learn how to write their names in cursive. The preschoolers are also doing an amazing job at writing their names!

Open ended play is so important in both preschool and kindergarten! The children at Creative Tree use a wide variety of fine motor and writing tools every single day. They especially love washi tape, scissors, and hole punchers at the art/writing center! In our half day preschool and Kindergarten, children are taught in small group rotations based on where they are academically. Kindergarten students are given a full 30 minutes of open ended play and a 20 minute recess. All the Kindergarten students are exceeding Kindergarten standards and reading at a second grade level! The Transitional Kindergarten students are meeting kindergarten standards, and the preschool students have begun sounding out words and writing their name! When children have the opportunity to play, they learn faster amd develop a love for learning because their developmental needs are being met.
