What a sweet book. Brings back wonderful memories of my grandmother, who was my piano teacher, though our connection was mostly through classical music. So many wonderful moments of listening to her and my aunt and dad and mom and sis and brother play... Grandmother also developed Alzheimers and even after she couldn't recognize those she loved and who loved her, she was able to play piano for many years and even began playing beloved hymns by ear - something she'd never done before.

Really good advice for practicing piano (or really accomplishing anything in life). Set daily goals and practice difficult passages in bite-size bits until they are mastered, rather than playing through a whole piece and teaching yourself to play mistakes.
