Enosburg Elementary School

Enosburg Elementary School Title l rural elementary school serving students in early childhood education through grade 5 Miss Kathleen M. Kehoe was assigned principal and Mrs. Dorothy H.

In 1820, the first Enosburg school in the village was a log building. The location is not certain.

1955-1956, the present school, was opened, with an enrollment of 249 students grades 1-6. Preston, assistant principal.

2011-2012- We begin this new school year with principal Mrs. Michelle Lussier and assistant principal, Mrs. Jennifer Carpenter. Enrollment is 246 students, grades PK-5.

Good news Hornets, Walk to School Wednesday is back this year! Walking Wednesday starts September 16th and continues weekly through November 18th. Walking is open to students and their families. Meet walking leaders at Hannaford at 7:15 or Dollar General at 7:25 or along the way. Check Seesaw for any weather cancellations.

Here are the dates for this school year walks: Weekly 9/16 to 11/18. Then monthly winter walks: 12/9. 1/13. 2/10, and 3/17/27. We end the year with weekly walks 4/7 to 6/9/27.

Substitute walking leader volunteers are needed. Message Mrs McKinstry on Seesaw if you are interested. Thank you leaders: Stacey West, Paige Brady-Valenta, Margo & Brenna Longway & the McKinstry family for your continued service to make this program possible. Hope to see you there!

We have a lot planned for September with some great new groups. Our Homeschoolers & Friends STREAM starts back up this month, we are starting a brand new book club for the TWEENS, and a new adult book club called Strange Worlds & Dark Corners (which is Fantasy, Mystery, and Sci-Fi themed.
