Today we are highlighting world record cycling brothers Aidan and Ethan McDonagh!

The McDonagh brothers began their educational journeys with Reach as kindergartners after their mom’s quest to find a supportive learning environment that fostered growth and curiosity. Now rising 5th and 6th graders, Aidan and Ethan enjoy the STEM-infused activities Reach offers to our students, actively participating in our science and technology challenges.

Outside of school, Aidan and Ethan enjoy competitive track cycling, receiving a combined total of 12 world records! The McDonagh brothers' most recent world record achievement was this past December in Hilton Head, South Carolina, during the Under 10, 2 Person Relay, earning the 100-Mile Road Relay World Record, 100 Kilometer Road Relay World Record, and the 6-Hour Road Relay World Record. Heavily inspired by the cycling community, Aidan and Ethan are encouraged to reach their fullest potential, living by their favorite quote from Tour de France cyclist Greg LeMond, "It never gets easier; you just go faster."

They would like to thank all of their teachers at Reach for their continued support and look forward to continuing their academic and athletic commitments as Reach Cyber students.
