Mateo worked on phonics for letters A–E today while becoming more familiar with uppercase and lowercase letters.

He independently pointed to A and said “apple,” B and said “ball,” C and said “cat,” and D and said “dog.” It was exciting to see him remember the letter-word connections we practiced last week!

Our next step is to help him identify and practice each letter’s sound on its own. We’re proud of his progress!

🦋 Hi, Butterfly families! It’s Mrs. Morgan! 🦋

My mom is asking for our community’s help to reach a special goal with The Amy McDaniel Team: 1,000 Blessing Baskets for local families and children who may not have enough for a Thanksgiving meal. 🧡🦃

Each basket includes food for a full Thanksgiving meal and a gift card to help purchase a turkey or ham. With the help of school counselors, these baskets will reach local families in need.

Whether you donate a few items or fill an entire basket, every contribution makes a difference! The flyer below includes the shopping list and details. 🧺🍂

If you’re a Butterfly family and would like to donate, you’re welcome to bring your items to me at Butterfly Kids Tutoring if that’s easier. I’ll make sure they get to my mom! ❤️
