Hurricane House Lab!
Today, our 5th grade students explored how the force of moving air can affect the motion and stability of structures while working to create a house strong enough to withstand simulated hurricane winds.
Through designing, testing, and observing, students put their understanding of force and motion, severe weather, and the engineering design process into action!
