Dr. Darrow presented Mrs. Price with a District Coin today in recognition of her willingness to step up when Prairie View needed her most. ❤️

With less than 24 hours’ notice, Mrs. Price moved from 2nd grade to 4th grade the day before our official first day of school. She recognized a need and, without hesitation or complaint, stepped up to make sure our students were taken care of.

We are incredibly thankful for Mrs. Price and her willingness to always put the needs of Prairie View Elementary students first. We are so lucky to have her on our team! 💙🦬

Hello Parents and Guardians!

🥛 🥞 With our new 7:20 AM breakfast opening, we were able to get 83 students through the line in just the first 10 minutes! This drastically reduced the number of students still eating after 7:50 AM. What a success!

A Quick Morning Drop-Off Reminder:

🚗 🛻 To keep our morning traffic flowing smoothly and safely, please make sure to drop off students at the back of the building only. The west side parking lot is reserved exclusively for morning Daycare drop-off. Please do not drop off on this side or park on this side to walk your child up to the doors. By following this expectation, you are helping to ensure that the flow of traffic remains steady and flowing in all areas.

🎉 Happy Birthday to one of our amazing paraprofessionals, Stephanie Griffin! 🎂

Although Ms. Griffin is new to Prairie View Elementary this year, she is certainly not new to her role as a paraprofessional! She brings valuable experience from previously serving in the same role at another elementary school.

We are so excited to have Ms. Griffin as part of our herd and look forward to a fantastic year with her as she supports and loves on our students! 💙 🦬

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Astrid Fugazzi! 🎂

Today we are celebrating Mrs. Fugazzi, one of our amazing paras in our self-contained program! She has been a valued member of the Prairie View Elementary family for 6 years!

The love Mrs. Fugazzi has for her students is so evident in her day-to-day interactions with them. She brings kindness, patience, and so much heart to her work each day, and we are incredibly thankful for all that she does for our students and our school.

Thank you to everyone who donated goodies to help us stock the teachers’ lounge! 💙🦬

A little snack and a quick pick-me-up can make a LONG day of planning, prepping, organizing, and getting everything ready for our students so much better! 🍿🍪☕️

And don’t worry—we’re still accepting donations! 😉 We have all day Monday and Tuesday to continue preparing before our students officially return on Wednesday! 📚✏️
