HSMA Martial arts program geared towards at-risk youth in the community & families. Classes are free
$40 annual membership fee

We offer free Tae Kwon Do classes to children aged 5 to 17 as an alternative to poor behavior or crime. We offer this program with the hopes that it will instill discipline, focus, and respect in young individuals. This program provides a structured environment for personal growth and development, promoting physical fitness and mental well-being while steering participants away from negative influences. The opportunity to learn martial arts for free not only benefits the children directly involved but also contributes positively to the community by nurturing responsible and disciplined young individuals.

Popcorn fundraiser will be delivered sometime tomorrow. After delivered it will have to be inventories and then split into orders for the students. We will send out atext to everyone when orders are ready to be picked up. Would prefer all orders be picked up tomorrow when ready. Ms. Nancy

This is Ms. Nancy. I have a question to all our parents. I'm thinking of running a junk journal making fundraiser. Each participant would walk away with a self made, one of a kind, junk journal to enjoy at the end of the event. Thinking i I would split it into two different events, one for adults and one for kids ( notebook instead of handmade journal) with different skill levels and assistance offered for each event. (Kids will need more help and be simpler) adult event would be $20 and kids event would be $10. I would be footing the supply bill and would need everyone to pre-register to ensure I am prepared for everyone attending. Each event could take registrations for up to 20-25 people. What I need to know is how many people would be interested in this sort of thing? If you have questions feel free to as them here or message me on HSMA's messenger.
Thanks!

* pic is a past grungy chunky journal I made over a year ago just for interest. The journals made at this event will not be grungy or chunky because or time restraints.

Reminder parents meeting between classes today

09/14/2026

Yes class tonight! Bring water bottle and fundraiser forms with money. Whatever shorts and tee. Light workout.

Such a bummer! We are canceling classes tonight because of the heat. But on the bright side the extended forecast looks to be lower temps next week. Fundraiser forms and money were due tonight but with classes canceled we are extending the deadline until Monday evening so get out and try to get some more sales in the next 5 days! Be safe and happy and stay hydrated!

Just a reminder, no class tonight because of labor day! Enjoy your family time and stay safe - hydrated - and happy!

It's just so hot today and we don't want out students, and parents, to have to sit in this heat tonight. So we are canceling class. Stay hydrated and cool and we will look forward to seeing everyone next week.
