For 40 years, Ms. Salisbury has given students far more than music. She gave them confidence, joy, discipline, and a love of music they will carry for life.

LEARNING TO HONOR WHAT OTHERS SERVED TO DEFEND

Our fifth graders had the privilege of learning from Sgt. LeRoy Watkins (Ret.), Purple Heart recipient and U.S. Army combat veteran, as he taught he proper care, folding, and retirement of the American flag.

More than flag etiquette, Sgt. Watkins taught the meaning behind these traditions and the values they represent: respect, responsibility, service, and honor.

THE BLESSINGS TO AND FROM ST. PAUL’S | SUNDAY BLESSINGS

Now in her second year at St. Paul’s, Ms. Watkins brings an enormous heart to our fifth-grade classroom. She loves her students deeply, challenges them to grow, and makes sure they know every single day that they matter.

At the end of each day, Ms. Watkins tells her students, “I love and appreciate you.” And she means it.

Her kindness, joy, and genuine care reach well beyond her classroom. We are incredibly grateful to have Ms. Watkins as part of the Herd and even more grateful for the way she loves, challenges, and serves our students each day.

100 years ago, these doors opened for the first time. | Est. 1926. Still building.

What began in 1926 with a vision for Lutheran education in Enid has grown into something remarkable.

Generations of students have been challenged academically, grounded in faith, cared for deeply, and prepared not simply to succeed, but to become people of character, conviction, and purpose.

You don’t replace 27 annnd a half years | This was a hard one

We celebrated the retirement of someone who quietly became part of the foundation of this place. For 27 and a half years, Ms. Teddie showed up for students, families, teachers, and this school with consistency, care, and heart.

Generations of students walked through these halls knowing her kindness, her presence, and the way she made people feel seen, valued, and loved.

What we know is this | The Herd is better because Ms. Teddie was here
