Celebrating our student leaders!

Chisholm Public Schools was proud to stand alongside Logan Snider and Braedyn Hunt at today’s Leadership Greater Enid luncheon! Both students were officially recognized for their incredible achievements and active participation in Youth Leadership Greater Enid this summer.

Through Youth Leadership Greater Enid, these students gained hands-on opportunities to develop leadership skills, build lasting community connections, and discover the vital role they can play in the future of Enid.

We are thrilled to share that Chisholm Elementary School has been recognized as the #1 Best Public Elementary School in Garfield County by Niche!

With an A Overall Grade, an A in Academics, and an A+ for our incredible Teachers, this recognition is a direct result of the dedication, hard work, and heart our staff, students, and families bring to school every single day.

We are thrilled to share that Chisholm Public Schools has been awarded a $1,400 Aero Education Grant from the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission!

On the very first day of school, School Board Member and fellow pilot Chris Occhiuzzo stopped by to present the grant and celebrate this exciting milestone. A huge shoutout to Mr. Buford for his incredible dedication and leadership in building our hands-on aviation program and inspiring the next generation of aviators!

Thank you to the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission for supporting our school and providing this fantastic opportunity for Chisholm students to reach new heights!

Dear Chisholm Families and Community Members,

As we count down the final days before the start of the 2026–2027 school year on Wednesday, August 12th, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in our Summer Listening Tour.

Whether you joined us at the Elementary School, Wee Too Restaurant, or the High School—or reached out directly with your thoughts—thank you. Your warm welcome, candid feedback, and deep commitment to our students have been invaluable as I step into my role as your Superintendent.

Over the course of our sessions, several clear themes emerged:

District Pride: Celebrating our strong sense of community, dedicated staff, inclusive Special Education programs, and traditions like the all-district Homecoming Parade.

Operational Focus: Looking at practical solutions for Middle School pick-up/drop-off traffic flow and evaluating our school communication tools to keep info streamlined and predictable.

Student Experience & Well-Being: Ensuring a healthy balance between academics, athletics, fine arts, and family time, while exploring expanded career discovery opportunities for our older students.

I am currently compiling these insights to share with our Board of Education and administrative team. Over the coming months, we will use your input to guide operational tweaks and inform our long-term strategic planning.

Thank you again for your partnership and for making Chisholm Public Schools such a special place. Our team is working hard to prepare our buildings, and we can’t wait to welcome your children back on August 12th!
