Hello, Garfield families! Just a few reminders to help keep morning drop-off safe and running smoothly:
• The gate opens at 7:20 a.m. and will remain open until 7:50 a.m. Students arriving after 7:50 a.m. will need to check in through the front office.
• The front doors do not open until 7:30 a.m. Front door drop-off is reserved for buses and students requiring special assistance.
• We encourage parents not to drop students off in the back parking lot unless you are planning to walk them safely past the crosswalk and into the gate. It is not safe for young children to cross through parking lot traffic on their own.
• During the drop-off line, please remain in or at your vehicle. If you would like to walk your student to the door, please park your vehicle in the parking lot and walk in with them rather than stopping in the drop-off line.
