Oklahoma Wheat Growers Association is a voluntary organization comprised of wheat producers and those interested in the industry.

OWGA is a voluntary organization comprised of wheat producers and those interested in the industry. It is completely separate from the Oklahoma Wheat Commission, which is funded by the wheat check-off. The OWGA provides these primary services:
-Legislative Activities - communicates with elected officials.
-Communication Services - monthly membership newsletter.
-Education - local meetings, workshops, and annual conventions.

We are grateful to our members, speakers, sponsors, award winners, industry partners, and guests for making this year’s meeting a success.

A special congratulations to Dennis Schoenhals, recipient of the Mr. Wheat Award, and to Tammy Miller on receiving the Staff of Life Award presented by the Oklahoma Wheat Commission. Both honors are incredibly well deserved!

Join us for the Oklahoma Wheat Growers Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 8 at the Stafford Air & Space Museum in Weatherford.

As harvest season continues across Oklahoma, we want to wish everyone a safe and plentiful harvest. Whether you are still in the field or already wrapping up, we look forward to bringing our wheat growers family together this July.

Join us for Wheat Day at the State Capitol next Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM!

We’ll kick things off with a come & go luncheon as we celebrate the passage of HB 4054 and what it means for the future of wheat research.

Following the luncheon, we’ll deliver fresh bread to legislators and continue sharing the story of wheat across our state.
