Sometimes the food gets blamed when the food isn’t actually the whole problem.

If you’re reacting to foods, especially foods you used to tolerate, it can be tempting to just keep cutting more and more things out.

But sometimes the bigger issue may be what’s happening underneath.

Stress, low stomach acid, poor digestion, changes in gut barrier function, and other sources of inflammation can all affect how well you tolerate certain foods.

Food sensitivity testing can be helpful because it may identify foods that are adding to your inflammatory load right now. Temporarily removing those foods can help calm things down and give your body some breathing room.

But testing is only one piece of the puzzle.

The goal isn’t just to find foods to avoid. It’s to also ask why your body became reactive in the first place and work on those underlying factors.

Have you ever felt like your list of foods you tolerate just keeps getting smaller?

A lot of people assume I got into this work because I love doing labs.

The truth is, I got into this work because I know what it’s like to search for answers and feel like you’re not getting the whole picture.

That experience changed the way I see health.

Today, I use blood chemistry analysis and functional testing to help my clients understand what their bodies may be trying to communicate—not just to hand them another list of things to try.

When someone works with me, my goal isn’t just to review lab results. It’s to listen, look for patterns, and help create a plan that’s built around their body.

If you’ve ever felt unheard or dismissed, I hope this reminds you that your symptoms matter, and they’re worth exploring.

I’d love to hear your story. Send me a message or share it in the comments.

One of the biggest changes my clients notice isn’t how they feel at first…
It’s that the guessing stops.

♦️ We start by looking at blood chemistry patterns and functional testing to better understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
♦️ You see your results explained in a way that makes sense—not just a list of numbers. Or another, "everything looks normal" but you don't feel normal.
♦️ Then we build a personalized plan around diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, and targeted supplementation.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight, and I won’t promise that it does. But it’s a very different experience when you’re making decisions based on your body’s data instead of guessing.

If you’re ready to stop wondering why you feel the way you do, send me a message. I’d love to help you take the first step.

What’s the symptom you’ve stopped mentioning?

The one you’ve heard, “Everything looks normal,” or “That’s just part of getting older,” so many times that you stopped bringing it up.

♦️ Bloating
♦️ Afternoon energy crashes
♦️ Poor sleep
♦️ Brain fog
♦️ Stubborn weight
♦️ Low energy

I was focusing on daily pain and anxiety and I was told it was because I had EDS and trauma so it was to be expected.

Just because a symptom has become common doesn’t mean it’s something you have to ignore.

Blood chemistry analysis and functional testing can provide additional insight into patterns that may help explain why you’re feeling the way you do.

😊 Drop your symptom in the comments. I read every one, and I’ll let you know whether it’s something that blood chemistry analysis or functional testing may be able to help you explore.

Bloated by dinner almost every day?

Bloating isn’t something you should have to just “live with.” It’s your body telling you to pay attention.

♦️ Gut symptoms can have many different contributing factors.
♦️ The right approach starts with understanding what’s happening instead of guessing.
♦️ Functional stool testing can provide insights into your gut microbiome, digestion, and other patterns that may help guide your next steps.

Random supplements rarely solve problems you haven’t identified.

If your gut has been trying to get your attention, maybe it’s time to start listening.

Comment GUT or send me a message to learn more about functional gut testing and whether it may be a good fit for you.

Have you been told, “Your labs are normal,” but you still don’t feel like yourself?

Sometimes the answers aren’t found in one lab value—they’re found in the patterns.

♦️ Blood chemistry patterns can reveal how different systems in your body are working together.
♦️ Functional testing can provide additional insight into stress hormones, digestion, and other factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
♦️ When you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, you can create a plan that addresses the whole picture—not just the symptoms.

If this week’s videos sounded like your story, comment LABS or send me a message. The first conversation is simply a chance to explore what’s underneath your symptoms.

Have you ever noticed that a new health plan works for a couple of weeks… then everything starts slipping back to where it was?

It’s usually not because you lack willpower.
Too often, health is approached one piece at a time—a new diet, a supplement, or an exercise program—without first understanding what’s actually driving the symptoms.

That’s why I start differently.

♦️ Blood chemistry analysis helps identify patterns that may be overlooked when labs are viewed one marker at a time.
♦️ Functional testing can provide additional insight into areas like stress hormones, digestion, nutrient status, and other factors influencing how you feel.

Then we build a personalized plan around the five foundations of health:
♦️ Nutrition
♦️ Rest
♦️ Exercise
♦️ Stress reduction
♦️ Targeted supplementation

Your body doesn’t work in isolated systems, so your wellness plan shouldn’t either.

When you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and support your body as a whole, healthy changes are much more likely to last.

If you’ve been bouncing from one “quick fix” to the next, maybe it’s time to stop chasing symptoms and start understanding the bigger picture.
