It has been an incredible week for the Longfellow Band!!!

-Last Tuesday was our Spring Concert. The students played magnificently!!!

-Wednesday-Friday was the Tri-State Music Festival.
Beginning Band- 1 (Superior)
7th Grade Band- 2 (Excellent)
8th Grade Band- 2 (Excellent)
For solos and ensembles- 19 students received Superior ratings (1), 11 students received Excellent ratings (2), and 1 student received a Good rating (3).

- Saturday the 7th and 8th Grade Bands performed at Edmond Santa Fe High School for the Heartland Music Festival!
Both bands received Superior Ratings (1s)!!!
Many students and sections received outstanding individual or outstanding section awards!
We then finished our day at Incredible Pizza!

We are so very proud of these students. Their hard work and dedication to this program definitely paid off this week! Go Mustangs!!!!

Amazing performances by the 7th and 8th grade solo and ensemble students yesterday at The Cordell Music Festival!

We had 12 students performing solos.
Students are rated as follows:
1-Superior
2-Excellent
3- Good
4-Fair
5-Poor
-10 received Superior ratings!
-2 received Excellent ratings!

We had 6 different ensembles perform.
-5 received Superior ratings!
-1 received an Excellent rating!

So proud of these students!
