This week has been extremely busy, and I am incredibly proud of all our students! We celebrated them at our annual band awards night on Monday. We honored our seniors and recognized students for the “John Phillip Sousa” award, our director’s award, and various other awards. On Tuesday, we held our annual spring concert with our concert band, middle schoolers, and Colorguard. The students performed exceptionally well and had an unforgettable evening with a supportive audience. Thank you to all of the parents, guardians, staff, faculty, and community members who attended and supported the students. Lastly, on Friday, we congratulated our seniors at their graduation! This senior class has been exceptional, worked diligently, and demonstrated unwavering dedication. They will be greatly missed, but we are eagerly anticipating their future endeavors!
As we approach the conclusion of the year, I am profoundly grateful for all of the students who participated in band and colorguard this year. They have dedicated themselves to the program, experienced significant growth, and I am confident that they will continue to excel as we transition into the upcoming year. I am immensely proud of all of our students can’t wait to see what the next year holds for the McMinn Central Charger Band. 🩵🩵
