📧 Check your inboxes, Parents! 📧
We sent out an important email earlier today with all the details for tomorrow's 1st–8th Grade Back-to-School Night. If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, here are the highlights:
🤝 What to Expect: Meet your child's teachers, drop off school supplies, and check out the beautiful classroom transformations!
🚚 Food Trucks & Parking: The front lot will be closed to parking so we can host food trucks! Plan to grab a bite, hang out with our amazing community, and please allow extra time to park elsewhere.
🍎 A Quick Favor: Because we just received final construction approvals, our teachers have had much less time than usual to set up. Please give them some grace if bulletin boards and decorations are still a work in progress!
🚧 Construction Updates: You might notice a few finishing touches still happening indoors. Outside, our new playground equipment is wrapping up, and our new turf arrives on Friday, August 7! There will be a brief delay in using the playground, but we promise it will be worth the wait.
Be sure to read the full email for all the details. Thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support as we wrap up this exciting project. We can’t wait to kick off an amazing school year with you all tomorrow! 🏫💙

Tracy Pasca earned her Bachelor of Science in Education at Mississippi College. After graduating, she taught multiple grades in elementary school before moving to Colorado in 2000. Tracy first joined the CCA family 23 years ago as a third-grade teacher. Following five years in the classroom, she subsequently took on several administrative and paraeducator roles around the building.
Her son started as a kindergartener in 2015 and attended CCA all the way through eighth grade. In 2020, her family adopted a daughter, and Tracy has been home with her for the past six years. She is absolutely thrilled to be returning to CCA and bringing her daughter with her!
Having seen the fabric of the school from every angle—both as an educator and as a parent—Tracy can truly say she is a "CCA fan!" She loves everything from the academics taught to the character traits the school emphasizes. Tracy considers it a privilege to work with CCA's amazing staff and families, and she looks forward to getting to know everyone this year.

Rebecca Paradis is thrilled to be joining the CCA family this year! She grew up in Southern California and attended Loyola Marymount University, where she earned her Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in Literacy, and her Reading Specialist Credential. Rebecca also holds an Instructional Coaching certificate from Harvard University.
She is beginning her 12th year of teaching! She taught 3rd and 1st grade before finding her favorite grade, Kindergarten, which she taught for five years. Rebecca and her husband recently moved from California with their 2-year-old son and 9-month-old daughter, and they are so excited to put down roots in Colorado and at CCA!

Above all, she wants her students to learn that kindness and hard work matter most, and she strives to model that every day.
She can't wait to get started and become part of the CCA community!

It has been an honor for Savannah Johnson to be a full-time classroom teacher for the past five years of her career, and she is thrilled to begin a new chapter at CCA! She graduated from UNC in 2021 with bachelor's degrees in Microbiology and Education, and is fluent in Scottish Gaelic and proficient in American Sign Language (ASL). Her experience includes teaching grades 6-12 Gifted & Talented classes, science, ELA, and math classes, as well as additional enrichment courses. From the time Savannah first chose to become a teacher, working with GT students has always been a great passion of hers. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with more students in this area and support them in getting what they need from their education.
Savannah’s teaching philosophy is that what supports one student supports all students. She believes that with the right supports, every child is capable of meeting high standards in their academics. Once a student has shown that they are capable of learning material, Savannah believes they should be granted the opportunity to attain an understanding above and beyond that.
In her free time, Savannah enjoys writing her original novel, embroidery, spending time with her husband and their two cats, and traveling. Her family is from Scotland, and she travels to visit them every two years. When not traveling during the summer, Savannah can usually be found typing away at the computer, working on her book!
