We want to thank all the early childhood teaching staff from St. Vrain Valley School Distict that participated in the Kids Play math training on November 10, 2023.
We were very impress with all the implementation ideas, commitment, and involvement that all the participating teaching staff showed in this training. We want also to thank Shela Blankinship and Katie Rhodes for providing Kids Play Math team the opportunity to provide support in early math for this district. Last, we want to thank the two Kids Play Math trainers Lana Hansen and Alvaro Arias.

Here are some of the comments from the Teaching staff for the Kids Play Math training with the collaboration of The Learning Carpet :
I will add opportunities for math in all the learning centers;
I will plan instruction going from smallest quantities to bigger quantities;
I will look at my data through the lenses of mathematical development;
Use the book as a true resource in the classroom;
I found many ideas that I can add to my classroom;
I learn different ways to integrate math in my classroom;
I plan to implement more games in a smaller group settings;
I plan to use the assessment presented in the training;
I like the hands on opportunities yo practice the concepts;:

All examples were hand on activities and research based;it helped me understand the standards ;
