A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate at the Sheridan Celebrates Parade and Festival this weekend. From the Children's Parade to the Grand Parade and all the fun, music, activities, and smiles in between, it was a day filled with community pride and connection.

We loved seeing neighbors lining the streets, families enjoying the festivities, and friends cheering on every parade entry. Whether you waved from the sidelines, marched in the parade, volunteered behind the scenes, or joined in the celebrations, thank you for being part of what makes Sheridan such an incredible community.

One of the best parts of the day was celebrating the rich history, traditions, and cultures that make our community so special.

To everyone who helped organize, participate, perform, volunteer, sponsor, and attend: thank you for making Sheridan Celebrates such a memorable success. We are grateful for your continued support of our schools, our city, and one another.

Until next year, Sheridan... thank you for the memories, the laughter, the community spirit, and all the cheers!

Strong signals. Fast fixes. Legendary patience.

If our district were a computer, Jolie, Spencer, and Jacob would be the operating system keeping everything running.

From classrooms and offices to communication and operations, they're constantly working behind the scenes to make sure Sheridan School District stays connected and productive.

In honor of National IT Professionals Day on September 15, we're celebrating our IT Team for always being ready to debug, reboot, troubleshoot, and save the day before most of us even realize there's a problem.

We appreciate you more than our Wi-Fi appreciates a strong signal!

What an incredible day at the Denver Summit FC Soccer Clinic at Fort Logan Northgate!

The fields were filled with energy, excitement, and smiles as young athletes spent the afternoon learning new skills, building confidence, and having a blast with coaches and teammates.

The enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and determination on display were truly inspiring.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success and to the players who brought their passion and positive attitudes to the field!

We loved seeing our students grow, connect, and celebrate the game of soccer together.

We had four incredible students recognized at last night's Board of Education meeting.

These Sheridan High School students earned School Recognition Awards through the College Board National Recognition Program, which honors students for their academic achievement and college readiness.

The awards provide a meaningful recognition that students can highlight in college and scholarship applications.

Congrats to Hanna Aguilera, Joshua Marquez, Israel Gonzalez Flores, and Fabiola Soto Lopez (Fabiola also received a First-Generation Recognition Award)!

Sheridan High School hosted a safety shoe distribution event for students enrolled in the district’s Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3) Program, a 120-hour apprenticeship-readiness program developed by North America's Building Trades Unions (NABTU).

Representatives from Work Wear Safety and Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company parked a mobile store outside the school, allowing students to select a free pair of safety shoes as they prepare for hands-on learning and careers in the skilled trades.

The MC3 program prepares students for registered apprenticeships and careers in construction through industry-aligned instruction, career exploration experiences, and connections with industry professionals. Students are introduced to careers in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, HVAC, and heavy-equipment operation.

DAC is Back!

The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is an important way for parents, caregivers, and community members to partner with Sheridan School District in supporting student success. The DAC brings together families, community members, and district staff to collaborate, share perspectives, and provide meaningful input on how our district serves students.

We hope you'll join us for these important conversations!

Our next meeting will take place from 5 - 6 p.m. on October 15, 2026.

All meetings will take place at the District Administration Building at 4107 S. Federal Blvd.
