Krissy and Seth (with Senior Music Connection) came yesterday to provide a wonderful Hymn Sing for our clients. While our clients love a wide range of music, hymns are ALWAYS a top favorite that resonates with just about everyone. As you can see, our buddy Brian was a big fan of "This Little Light of Mine"!

Just two besties enjoying a sweet treat 🥰

We visited Covered Wagon to try their ice cream and it did not disappoint! They make it themselves and you can buy a serving to eat there or take home a pint. Our group chose between cookies and cream, strawberry, or moose tracks and everyone loved their selections 😋 Thanks, Covered Wagon!

The Empowered Caregiver series continues at the Earl Heck Community Center this Friday at 1:00 p.m. with a class on "Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors." These workshops are free to attend and no reservations are required. Classes are provided by the Alzheimer's Association.

We tried out a new (to us) spot for our outing this week! We went to Boston Stoker and each client chose their own sweet treat. Kay got an Italian Soda and we were all impressed with how special it looked 🤩 We asked if it was good and she said "better than good!"

So great to have fun opportunities like this for the seniors in our community!

Don't forget to come visit with us for our 50+ Weekly Coffee Club tomorrow from 10AM-12PM! We'll have coffee, donuts, cards, and yard games set up for our community to use for FREE (donations are always welcome for the treat fund).

If you'd like to get some swings in, our batting cages are open and only $5 per person.

Have you heart of Aquapaint? It's basically magic! Aquapaint pages allow ANYONE to become an artist with just a paint brush and water. The pages start out white, then the art appears when brushed with water🎨 These are awesome for those who would like to create, but struggle with the choices that come along with typical mediums. Once finished, the pages return to white as they dry, allowing them to be used again and again!
