What a great summer filled with learning, enrichment, and plenty of fun - it’s hard to believe how quickly it has gone by!

As we shift gears for the new school year, our team is busy making sure every scholar has the supplies, clothing, and support they need to start the year strong.

A huge thank you to for hosting a school supply drive in support of Challenge Foundation scholars. We are so grateful for their generosity and partnership!

This summer, Challenge scholars took the stage for our very first Summer Program Talent Show!

Scholars shared their talents through singing, dancing and playing musical instruments and more. We were so proud of their creativity, confidence and willingness to step into the spotlight!

Everyone who participated was supportive and cheering others on. We love seeing moments like these!

Over $1,000,000 raised!

Thank you to our incredible community for making this year's Canvas of Possibility breakfast our most successful event yet. Together we met our $405,000 event match and then rallied for another $50,000 after the event.

Every gift is a brushstroke on the bigger picture we're building together. We're endlessly grateful for your belief in Challenge scholars and your partnership in this work.

Learning outside the classroom! On Friday, scholars spent the day at St. Anne's in the Hills participating in team-building activities, building relationships, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

Experiences like these help strengthen confidence, connection, and community. Thank you to St. Anne's for opening your campus to us and providing such a wonderful place to learn, grow, and have fun together!

STARS is officially underway!

This two-week program welcomes 40 rising 5th graders as the first step in our application process. It's a chance for us to get to know each student - who they are, how they learn, what they enjoy, before moving forward together.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who joined us for Career Day during Summer Program!

Providing scholars with the opportunity to learn about a variety of career paths - and the education, experiences, and determination it takes to achieve them, is an invaluable part of helping them envision their futures.

Our scholars were engaged, curious, and full of thoughtful questions as they heard firsthand from professionals across different fields. These conversations help broaden perspectives, inspire new possibilities, and reinforce the importance of setting goals and working toward them.

We are grateful to each volunteer who took time out of their day to share their experiences, insights, and encouragement with our scholars. Thank you!

Last week, we welcomed our newest scholars and mentors for one of our favorite Challenge traditions—the annual 6th Grade Scholar & Mentor Book Outing.

Scholars and mentors spent the evening at the Tattered Cover selecting a book to read together, creating an opportunity to build connection, spark meaningful conversations, and begin developing the relationships that will support scholars throughout their Challenge journey.

Afterward, the group gathered for dinner at Steuben's, where they enjoyed great food, laughter, and the chance to get to know one another.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating the start of a new chapter for our 6th grade scholars. We are excited to watch these relationships grow and see all that this newest cohort will accomplish in the years ahead!

Summer Program is off to an amazing start at The Challenge Foundation!

In just the first week, scholars have strengthened their skills in reading, writing, and math, learned new techniques in swim lessons, explored the Denver Art Museum, toured the University of Colorado Boulder, and enjoyed an afternoon of fun and connection at Bounce Empire!

Summer Program is designed to keep scholars engaged, learning, and growing while building relationships and exploring new opportunities beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to Angelee on her graduation from Santa Clara University!

Angelee earned her degree in Public Health Science with minors in Latinx Studies and French & Francophone Studies.
