Today was Welcome Day at MVCTC! We had a great day full of fun activities that helped the students get to know each other and have some fun!

We started the day with some Drones & GIS Bingo, had our first BPA meeting, competed in the BPA Olympiad, posed for a BPA Drone photo and finished the day with some great school wide activities. Special thanks to seniors Caleb and Andrew for piloting and co-piloting for the BPA photo! What an awesome day!

It's Fly Friday in the Drones and GIS Technologies program!!

What a great first week we have had! Juniors took their first flight in our flying gym (the rest of the students will finish Monday) and Seniors took to the skies to get some flying and video practice. They all did an amazing job!!

ParentSquare will help keep families connected with important MVCTC news, announcements, classroom communication, emergency notifications, school delays and closings, and more.

MVCTC students will receive school communications through StudentSquare. Invitations to activate StudentSquare accounts have been emailed directly to students' MVCTC email accounts.

We are excited to celebrate the MVCTC Class of 2026 tonight at the University of Dayton Arena!
📍 UD Arena
🗓 Friday, May 15, 2026
⏰ Ceremony begins PROMPTLY at 6:30 PM

🚧 IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERT:
Due to construction on I-75, please allow extra travel time and check traffic conditions before leaving. We do not want anyone missing the start of this special evening!

🎓 SENIORS:
• Arrive NO LATER than 5:45 PM
• Report to your assigned East or West concourse area
• Arrive dressed and ready in your graduation gown
• Seniors arriving after the ceremony begins will NOT be admitted onto the floor

👔 Dress Code Reminder:
This is a formal event. Business professional attire is required under gowns.
🚫 No jeans
🚫 No shorts
🚫 No tennis shoes or flip flops
🚫 No decorated gowns
🚫 Graduation caps are NOT worn during the ceremony

🚪 Guest Information:
• Doors open at 5:30 PM
• Guests should be seated by 6:15 PM
• Tickets are NOT required
• Seniors may bring unlimited guests

⚠️ Security Reminder:
All guests will pass through security screening and metal detectors.
Please leave bags at home if possible to help speed up entry.

🚫 Prohibited items include:
No balloons, noisemakers, signs, laser pointers, outside food/drinks, confetti, silly string, pets, and other prohibited items.

Jr. Drones and GIS Students have had an incredible last week of school! We had perfect weather to fly and take footage of MVCTC to make our end of year videos.

Students tested, inventoried and repaired all of our drones to ensure they are all ready to go for next year.

Thanks for an amazing year - have a wonderful summer!!

🎉 Huge congratulations to Dalys Johnson, a Northmont senior who placed 7th in the Business Professionals of America Database Applications National competition! 🏆 What an incredible achievement — and even more special that his proud family joined him in Nashville to see him accept his award. Hard to believe that today was the last day for Seniors! It's been a great two years and we can't wait to see what the next chapter holds for you all!
