📣 Hello neighbors!

Are there any Certified Wilson Reading or Orton-Gillingham teachers in the area—especially retired educators?

Our nonprofit tutoring center, The Literacy Center for Dyslexia (TLC) in Englewood, FL, is growing and we’re looking for more Wilson/OG tutors to help support the increasing number of students with dyslexia in our community.

We have opportunities for:
• Part-time or full-time tutors
• Retired teachers who want to stay involved
• Practicum students finishing certification

If you live nearby and are interested in making a difference in a child’s life, we’d love to connect!

⛳ Attention Business Owners & Golfers!

The Literacy Center for Dyslexia (TLC) is excited to host our Annual Golf Tournament on April 26th at Boca Royale Golf & Country Club, and we need your support!

We are currently looking for:
🏌️‍♂️ Golfers & Teams
🤝 Event Sponsors
🎁 Silent Auction Basket Donations
🎉 Swag Bag Donations

Funds raised from this event will support TLC’s Kale Dailey Scholarship Fund and our Building Fund as we continue to grow and serve more students in our community. We have officially outgrown our current building, and the need for specialized dyslexia tutoring continues to increase.

TLC also provides tuition assistance on a sliding scale so that families who cannot afford specialized tutoring can still access the life-changing support their children need.

The Literacy Center for Dyslexia is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.

If you’d like to sponsor, play, donate, or learn more, please reach out or comment below!

Together, we can help more students unlock the power of reading. 📚💙
