Another reason to be proud of our Seniors!!!
Weaving technology into every classroom! 🎨📐
At Comp Sci High, computer science isn’t just an isolated class period—it’s a theme that elevates everything we do! A huge shoutout to Mr. King and Mr. Marolda for being absolutely phenomenal educators and bringing this vision to life for our students.
Together, they guided students through a unique project where they used industry-standard design tools like Figma to create stunning, interactive timelines tracking specific eras in American History. By blending data visualization, digital design, and historical research, they made learning deeper, more engaging, and incredibly meaningful.
Thank you, Mr. King and Mr. Marolda, for continuously pushing boundaries and inspiring our students to think like innovators! 💡🚀

🤔 Did you ever wonder how Artificial Intelligence actually "learns"? >
Our 9th graders in Dr. A’s Digital Futures class found out last week—and they did it by playing a game of Gibberish! 🎲🗣️
To demystify how Large Language Models (LLMs) process information, predict patterns, and understand human language, our students stepped into the shoes of the algorithms themselves.
We are incredibly lucky to have faculty like Dr. A, who holds a PhD in Machine Learning. She brings world-class, cutting-edge tech insights directly to our freshman class, making complex data science accessible, interactive, and incredibly fun. Our students aren't just using AI; they are mastering the mechanics behind how it works! 💻🚀

Finals week brain check: Are we coding, or are we cartooning? 🧠✨
Our students have been working incredibly hard studying in the library this week, but sometimes you just need to close the laptop tabs, pick up a pencil, and let your mind wander.
One of our talented students gifted us with this wholesome question during their library break: A mouse is a mouse... or IS IT? 🤷♂️🧀
We love seeing how our students de-stress and bring a little humor to the school day, even when the workload is heavy.
👇 Drop a encouraging word for our students in the comments as they finish up their finals!

Congratulations to the Hartford Yard Goats Citizen-Athlete of the Week!
Caleb Berube, Comp Sci HS Boys Volleyball
This season, Caleb has demonstrated that consistent effort will provide rewards. He started the season off fighting for a roster spot as a role player. Caleb shows up to practice dedicating that time to sharpen his skills. That dedication paid off and earned him a position on the court as a Defensive Specialist, a position that demands consistent passing and quick footwork. This was earned, not given.

⏱️ 60 SECONDS ON THE CLOCK. GO! 🚀
Our Product Development students put their design superpowers to the test last week with an epic 60-Second Design Challenge!
The mission? Create a functional, brand-new pencil holder.
The materials? Just a single sheet of card stock.
The deadline? Exactly one minute! ⏳💡
Under intense time pressure, our students proved that constraint breeds creativity. They ripped, folded, tucked, and engineered some incredibly unique prototypes on the fly. This is how real-world innovation starts—thinking fast, testing ideas, and not being afraid to fail forward!
