We are excited for “A Night on the Bayou,” the EHS junior prom, taking place this Thursday from 6:00–9:30 p.m. at Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, MA. Please review the following important reminders for students and parents:
Attendance Requirement: Students must be present in school on April 2 to attend the prom.
Early Dismissal: Students who wish to leave early may be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. with a parent note. Notes should be submitted to Mrs. Aikins in the Grade 11 office (Room E212). She will issue students an early dismissal pass. Early receipt of dismissal notes is appreciated.
Disciplinary Eligibility: Students who receive disciplinary action resulting in suspension are not permitted to attend the prom.
Timely Pickup: The event ends at 9:30 p.m. We appreciate your help in ensuring students are picked up promptly.
Entry Checks: All students will have purses and jackets checked, and a breathalyzer screening will be conducted prior to entry.
We look forward to welcoming our students for a fun and safe evening!

SAVE THE DATE!
On Wednesday, April 22nd the EHS Guidance department will be hosting our annual Junior Planning Night event from 6:00-7:00pm in the EHS Library Media Center. An admissions representative from UConn will provide an overview of the 4-year college application process, while admissions and financial aid representatives from CT State Asnuntuck will give an overview of the application process for 2-year colleges and the financial aid application process.

Please reach out to your counselor if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!

Dear Junior Families and Students,

An enchanting evening awaits as the Junior Class prepares for this year’s prom, “Night in the Bayou.” Join us for a night of elegance, celebration, and unforgettable memories on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

To ensure a smooth and seamless ticketing process, all required paperwork must be completed in advance. Paperwork may be picked up from Ms. Ellis in the EHS Library or Mrs. Aikins in the Junior Vice Principal’s Office on the second floor (E212), starting February 18th. Tickets may only be purchased once all paperwork has been fully completed and submitted at the time of sale.

Tickets are $75 per person and will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, March 4th, through Wednesday, March 11th, during period 3 outside of the cafeteria. Payment must be made by cash or check only, as tickets will not be available for online purchase. Please note that no additional tickets will be sold after March 11th.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2027 to an unforgettable evening filled with charm, celebration, and lasting memories beneath the bayou night sky.
