Lets take a look at the progress as we near the home stretch for the completion at JFK.

Photo 1: Site & Building Logistics. The green in the right photo shows all completed areas where the yellow is showing the areas under renovation.
Photo 2: both photos are newly created rooms/offices with in the existing media center hall/wing.
Photo 2: Left photo is the new corridor and the right shows the nearly completed renovation of the media center.
Photo 3: Left photo is the Innovation lab off the media center.
Photo 4: left photo is the World Language and the right photo is a reading room.
Photo 5: Both photos show the Hub. Celling grid is complete, tiles are out as we finish the MEP that feeds the areas still under renovation. Flooring will be last prior to turning over the building come end of summer.

More updates....

Photo 1: The Hub has been under active construction during 2nd shift hours. The ceiling tile is underway, which is a specialty product in a triangle shape with an extensive layout. We can't wait to share the finished product. The hub is not fully complete as data cables and some other MEP still needs to be completed for that last few areas that have not been completed. We are getting so close to the finish line with the hub.

Photo 2: A section of the Media Center that was used as classroom swing space is being brought back to its BETTER then original state. New duct work is being added and it will get a complete face lift w/ new finishes, fixtures, carpet and paint. This was the most up to date and newly built section of the school.. No stone has been left un-turn for the remodel...

You will see the new Admin Wing (old cafe) will be turned over to the school. While the old Media Center and Admin Wing will be taking over for construction by Gilbane.

Lets take a look at some of the progress....

Photo 1: A section of the old kitchen now admin office space. Carpet and paint now near completion. Estimated completion will be middle of March.

Photo 2: More of the old cafeteria. This was the area we used for the swing space classrooms. They are warping up all the underground and over head MEP. Then on to pouring of the new slab concreate.
