Developed by KITE, this beloved tradition has been gifting books to every kindergartener for over a decade, inspiring a love for reading. Seeing our friendly firefighters in uniform helps break down barriers and makes it easier for children to feel comfortable reaching out for help if needed. You are true heroes in our community!

Did you catch KITE's Parent Ambassador, Kaytlyn, at the FRC's Story Walk at Stocker Farm? She and her kiddos enjoyed walking through the meadow and reading the Gigantic Turnip written by Aleksei Tolstoy and Niamh Sharkey. Along the way, they saw lots of pollinators and plenty of plants. Once the walk was over, the group got to visit with some baby chicks, play games, and explore a big blue tractor. What a fun morning on the farm! If you see Kaytlyn out and about, say hi!
