Tonight, we celebrate the Enfield High School Class of 2026!
Graduation is a moment to recognize not only what these students have accomplished, but also the resilience, growth, kindness, and determination that brought them here. They have contributed to our schools, our community, and to one another in ways both big and small—and they give me great hope for the future.
Tonight, we celebrate the graduates, the people who helped them along the way, and the communities that made this milestone possible.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

With 11 years of dedicated service to Enfield Public Schools, Nicole Catuccio is a passionate educator, advocate, and leader whose impact extends far beyond the walls of her classroom. As a Social Studies Teacher at Enfield High School, Nicole brings history, government, and current events to life through engaging, student-centered learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and civic engagement.
Nicole believes learning is most meaningful when students can connect classroom content to the real world. From community action projects and cultural collaborations to student-led awareness campaigns, she empowers students to find their voices, explore diverse perspectives, and make a difference in their communities. Her students regularly describe her classroom as a place where they feel challenged, supported, and inspired to learn.
Beyond her instructional excellence, Nicole has demonstrated extraordinary leadership through her longstanding commitment to equity, inclusion, and student well-being. As advisor of Enfield High School’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA), she has spent years creating a safe, welcoming, and affirming space for students while organizing summits, field trips, school-wide initiatives, and opportunities that foster belonging and connection. Her work on district and school equity initiatives has helped strengthen opportunities for students and promote a culture of respect and inclusion throughout the community.
Whether mentoring students, collaborating with colleagues, or championing equity and belonging for all, Nicole leads with compassion, purpose, and unwavering dedication.
Help us celebrate Nicole Catuccio, Enfield Public Schools' 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, whose commitment to students continues to make a lasting difference across our district.

Every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and accepted.
Schools should be places where belonging is not in question—where students can learn, grow, and show up as themselves.
To our LGBTQIA+ students: you are valued, you are welcome, and you matter.
I remain committed to leading with empathy, kindness, and respect for every student who walks through our doors.

Awesome summer opportunity for high school students interested in law!
The Connecticut Bar Association’s Law Camp is a competitive FREE summer experience where students can explore careers in law, advocacy, and leadership. The application is pretty simple — no recommendations required. Applications are due May 31.

Six months ago today, we took office with a commitment to transparency, collaboration, and putting students first. Since then, somewhere between committee meetings, policy revisions, budget spreadsheets, and a truly concerning amount of coffee, we’ve been hard at work.
Here’s our “6 in 6” — six accomplishments from our first six months serving the Enfield community. We’re proud of the progress so far and look forward to building on our momentum.

In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day, we’re proud to highlight three members of our Board of Education who have dedicated their careers to teaching. Their firsthand experience in the classroom brings valuable perspective, deep commitment, and a strong sense of purpose to their work on behalf of our students, staff, and community.
Kelsey has been an educator since 2012, including more than a decade teaching in Enfield Public Schools. Her experience spans 4th grade, 6th grade science, and instructional coaching, and she currently teaches 5th grade in South Windsor. She holds a second master’s degree in administration with a focus on social justice leadership. Kelsey is known for building strong relationships with her students and creating engaging, supportive classrooms where they can grow academically and socially.
Bobbi Kiner began her career teaching French and Spanish at JFK and later returned to the classroom after raising her children, teaching in Ellington Public Schools. She continued her work in education through part-time roles at Somers High School, Saint Bernard’s, and as an academic tutor at Prudence Crandall School. Her experience across grade levels has given her a strong appreciation for the work of educators and the needs of students.
Rosalee brings 17 years of experience in education, serving as a teacher, mentor, coach, and assistant principal. She spent nearly a decade in Brooklyn, where she and her team helped close the achievement gap by outperforming district and state benchmarks. She currently works in Springfield Public Schools as a math instructional coach. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity and strong outcomes for all students.
