Is It Really ADHD?

Many children are referred for ADHD evaluations because they struggle with attention, following directions, completing assignments, staying organized, or remembering information.

But what if ADHD isn't the whole story?

In our work with students, we often see children whose challenges may actually be related to underlying cognitive weaknesses such as:

When these skills are weak, children can appear inattentive, distracted, forgetful, impulsive, or unmotivated—even when they are trying their best.
