At CMS, the Montessori method allows children to discover reading in a natural, gradual, and exciting way. 📚✨

First, they learn the sounds. Then, they begin connecting those sounds to letters. Little by little, they start forming words until something incredible happens: THEY DISCOVER THEY CAN READ ALL BY THEMSELVES! 🤩📖

This video is a beautiful example of what happens every day inside our CMS classrooms. Children who first came through our doors at just 18 months old, when many were only beginning to talk, eventually leave our classrooms knowing how to read. 💛🌱

It is truly special to watch that journey unfold.

It is incredible to see our children first walk through the doors of CMS at just 18 months old, when many of them are only beginning to talk. 💛🌱

And then, just a few years later, we watch them leave our classrooms knowing how to read. 📚✨

It is such a special journey to witness, one that happens little by little, day by day, as each child grows and discovers new abilities.

Dear Parents, do you happen to remember how you learned to tell the difference between NOUNS and VERBS when you were a child? 🤔📚

It almost seems like we were all born knowing the difference… but noooo, we weren’t! 😄 We all had to learn it at some point.

This video is truly a gem! 💛 Today, you will get to watch one of our students working through an activity designed specifically to help children understand the difference between NOUNS and VERBS.

It may seem like we were all born knowing the difference between a NOUN and a VERB… but noooo, we weren’t! 😄 We all had to learn it at some point!

Learning to distinguish between nouns and verbs is an important part of language development and understanding grammar. 📚✨

Through hands-on and visual activities, children discover that nouns name people, places, animals, or things, while verbs describe actions.

At CMS, grammar is something children can observe, classify, explore, and most importantly… learn by doing! 🌱💡

Math is built with hands-on learning, too! ✨🔢

Today, our students worked with the Seguin Boards, a classic Montessori material that helps children discover how the tens and teen numbers are formed in a concrete, visual, and engaging way. By working with the ten bars and building each number with their own hands, students develop logical thinking, gain a deeper understanding of place value, strengthen concentration, and build a solid foundation for future mathematical concepts. 🧮💛

In Montessori, children understand first, and memorize later. That is how a true love of mathematics begins. 🌱✨

Hello everyone! 💛

Today we would like to share one of the Montessori activities that introduces children to the wonderful world of math and the decimal system. 🔢✨

The purpose of this activity is to help children understand, in a concrete and hands-on way, how the numbers 11 through 19 are formed. For example, they discover that 13 is made up of one ten and three ones. By working with the bead materials and connecting them to the written numerals, children transform an abstract concept into something they can see, touch, and truly understand. 🌱

In addition to building early math skills, this activity strengthens logical reasoning, concentration, memory, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and the confidence that comes from discovering number patterns independently. It also lays a strong foundation for understanding the decimal system and prepares children for more advanced mathematical concepts in the future. 🧠✨

We are almost finished with our second week of Summer Camp, and it has been filled with so much fun and enthusiasm. 🌈✨

We hope all of you are enjoying a wonderful summer with your families and making lots of special memories together. ❤️

Starting next week, we will be sharing videos of many of the exciting activities taking place during our Summer Camp 2027. We cannot wait to give you a behind-the-scenes look at all the learning, creativity, and fun our children are experiencing each day. 🎨🌱🎥

Dear CMS Families, 💛✨

Today officially marks the end of our 2025–2026 school year, and with today being our last day of classes, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

On behalf of the entire CMS staff, we are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us and for allowing us to walk alongside your children during such an important stage of their early education. It has truly been a privilege to be part of their journey this school year. 🌱📚

We wish you a wonderful summer filled with joy, love, and special moments shared with family. ☀️🌈❤️

Today, we conclude our Spring Concert video series, and we are ending it in a very special way… with Graduation Day! 🎓✨💛

This is a truly meaningful moment for our children and for all of us as members of the CMS family.

It is the moment when we look back and realize that every minute, every effort, and every step along the way has been worth it. Watching our students grow, learn, and reach this milestone is one of the greatest rewards of all. 🌱❤️

We hope you enjoy this graduation video as much as we enjoyed celebrating this special day with our students and families. 🎓🌟
