First day of school for San Dieguito Union High School District Students in the San Dieguito Union High School District went back to school on Tuesday. It also marks the 10th anniversary for Pacific Trails Middle School.

Congratulations to Emily Petersen, our 2025 Teacher of the Year! Her dedication, creativity, and impact on students make her truly deserving of this honor.

On March 10th, PTMS held an early celebration of the international math Pi Day. A huge Thank You to our fearless math teacher Mr. Torkelson who got “pied” over 110 times! Another interesting fact is that our students collectively consumed about 138 lbs of delicious apple pie.
