🌟 Now Hiring: Play Pals at NeuroQuest (Encinitas) 🌟

We’re looking for kind, creative, and neurodiversity-affirming caregivers—what we call Play Pals—to join our team!
Play Pals act as 1:1 support for children who are newer to our enrichment center and may need a little extra attention and connection throughout the day.

🕓 Hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (9:00–2:30) to start

💼 Positions: 2–3 part-time openings (must be available at least some of those hours)

💰 Pay: $30–$40/hr depending on experience

📅 Potential: Could expand to ~30 hrs/week in January

✨ We’re looking for people who are:

- Calm, patient, and attuned to children’s needs
- Great at connecting and building trust through play
- Flexible, observant, and able to follow a child’s lead
- Good communicators who work well with a team
- Creative problem solvers who can support sensory or emotional regulation
- Genuinely passionate about helping neurodivergent kids thrive

💡 Experience:
- Experience with autistic, ADHD, anxious, or sensory-sensitive kids or lived experience as a neurodivergent person

- Believe in supporting kids’ strengths rather than “fixing” behaviors

- Open to learning—we provide training and ongoing support

Stories come to life through movement, sensory play, and connection in this playful group for toddlers ages 2–3!

Each week features a themed story with hands-on activities led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in early communication and play-based learning.

This isn’t therapy — it’s a supportive, story-filled space where children learn and grow together. Parents are welcome to join and take home simple strategies to support speech and social skills.

Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Friendship Quest helps children ages 4–7 build confidence, social skills, and friendships in a supportive, play-based setting.
