San Dieguito High School Academy Alumni

Please join us for our annual Memorial Weekend event as we pay our respects to our Fallen Mustangs who served in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam War. Our event begins at 10:00am on Saturday May 23, 2026. Senior students who will receive a scholarship through the Fallen Mustang Scholarship Fund will be attending and read the bio in whose name it was given. Very cool update to the shops!

The San Dieguito Union High School District invites our school community to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating San Dieguito Academy’s updated CTE shops on Monday, April 20th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. We will celebrate the opening of two new state-of-the-art shops, a woodshop and a metal (welding) shop, at SDA, and will include a brief tour of the updated facilities. Please follow event signage for parking.

TODAY Sat.Dec 6th is the Encinitas Holiday Parade and we have a new banner! Have some fun with fellow alum!!

TIME:5:00pm at space #67 on 2nd street near D Street on the East side of the street. Come EARLY for parking and check out the shops and restaurants downtown beforehand.

WEAR: holiday gear or San Dieguito colors or spirit wear. Feel free to bring candy canes to hand out to people on the Parade route and wear lights or bring some jingle bells.
There also is a shuttle from the BACK parking lot of San Dieguito but unfortunately I don't have a starting time for it. Can't wait to see you! Please comment if you can make it with class year. Otherwise just show up!!

Encinitas Holiday Parade this Saturday Dec. 6th update! We have our starting spot between D and E Street on the East side of 2nd Street, #67 in the red zone on the map. Please get there by 5:00 to mingle with fellow alum. It starts at 5:30. You can see most of the parade from our spot. Feel free to dress in Holiday clothing (with light up jewelry too) or San Dieguito spirit clothing. We've had some alum wear their Letterman jackets! You can bring candy canes to "hand out" to kids along the route. No "throwing" is allowed though. Your family is welcome to walk with us too!! There is a shuttle from San Dieguito's campus at the BACK parking lot if you don't want to find parking downtown. We'd love to know who's coming. Please comment if you are!

TODAY, Sunday Nov. 9th is the FINAL day to order from our online Mustang Alumni Store. We decided to do 2 Holiday designs this year. Can you find our "hidden Mustangs??!" in the designs? There's also some other everyday Mustang designs available on the site. Thanks so much for supporting your San Dieguito Alumni Association. The small profit goes to scholarships and maintaining our Mustang landmarks on campus as well as some treasures we're preserving.

TODAY is the day aka Wednesday, Nov. 5th! Join the San Dieguito Alumni Association Committee in celebrating Founder's Day (Classes of 1937-1965 this year) and Staff Reunion. ALL CLASS YEARS as well as STAFF are invited. Our event starts at 2:00 and ends at 5:00. Please go to the office to check in. There will be a tour of the campus lead by ASB students followed by a reception of light refreshments. Some alumni items will also be for sale. And take the mic to share your experience at San Dieguito!!
