Get ready for Halloween while helping the environment! Bring in your child’s outgrown (not damaged) costumes 10/7 - 10/11. Please drop off in the collection bin in front of the FV office.

Come back before / after school on 10/16 to find a new-to-you costume!

On your mark, get set, rollllll (or walk). Walk, Bike & Roll to School is 10/9.

We highly encourage everyone to ditch the car as this is a small way that we—as a Flora Vista Community—can help our environment and be more active.

A small prize will be given out to each student who participates.

Make it extra fun and walk to school with Ms. Oyagi or Ms. Kornreich, plus all your Flora Vista friends. Ms. Oyagi will meet students outside the Flair community gate on Mountain Vista and Ms. Korneich will meet students at the corner of Aspenglow and Gardendale.

Get there early as they will leave sharply at 7:40 am.

Don’t make dinner. Pick up pizza. Make some dough for Flora Vista. 🍕

Want to volunteer on campus this year? The 1st Volunteer training of the year is this Friday August 23rd, 8:00-9:00 a.m. in the MPR!

This training needs to be completed before you can start volunteering. This training needs to be completed each year.

Don't forget that Back to School Night is this Thursday, August 22nd for Parents & Guardians!
K-3rd Grades: 5:30-6:00pm
4th-6th Grades: 6:00-6:30pm

Celebrate the start of the school year at FV's Back to School Bash on Aug. 9th, 4:30-6:00 PM.

Enjoy free pizza, lemonade, and Kona Ice (while supplies last), and don't forget to purchase your FV spirit wear!

Bike Rodeo- Monday, April 29th 4-5pm at Flora Vista!
Are you interested in riding your bike more, and being more confident when you do it?
Then join the Flora Vista Elementary and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition for a fun and free bike skills event! Bring your bike and helmet and ride through a series of skills-based challenges, designed to enhance both your handling and knowledge of the bicycle. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend.
