🏈⚾️🏀⚽️ WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE TEAM? 🏒🏐

That’s the theme for our next Encinitas Toastmasters meeting this Thursday!

We’ll be showing a little team spirit and wearing jerseys, shirts, hats or whatever represents our favorite team. And yes, friendly rivalries are absolutely welcome. 😄

Toastmasters is a place to meet new people, challenge yourself, watch other people challenge themselves, and be surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed.

You don’t have to be a great public speaker.
You don’t even have to WANT to be a public speaker.

Maybe you just want to feel more confident speaking up in a meeting, telling a story, giving a presentation, meeting new people or simply getting a little more comfortable being uncomfortable.

And you certainly don't have to speak when you visit. Come watch. Come meet us. Come see what it's all about.

Because as much as Toastmasters is about communication and public speaking, I think what keeps people coming back is something even simpler:

Connection. Support. Community. And people cheering you on. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, Encinitas Toastmasters had the incredible honor of welcoming Distinguished Toastmaster William D. Hamilton, the 51st International President of Toastmasters International, to one of our club meetings!

Not only did William join us for the evening, he also delivered one of our three prepared speeches. What a special opportunity to hear from such an accomplished speaker and longtime Toastmasters leader right here at our own club.

We’re so grateful to William for sharing his time, experience, and words with us. It was definitely a memorable night for Encinitas Toastmasters! 🎤👏

Congrats to last night's winners: Sean for Best Table Topics, Pat for Best Speaker, and Josh for Best Evaluator. Thanks also to Julio, who showed his professionalism with a well-organized, on-time meeting with the theme of innovation. We also had several guests.

it's hard to top last week's incredible meeting! A huge thank you to JC for leading us through a superhero-themed evening packed with creativity, laughter, outstanding speeches, and so much fun. The effort she put into creating such an engaging meeting was evident from start to finish.

It was a super night!
