Sunday, April 19 at 1 PM, the SD Human Trafficking Task Force is joining us again for a powerful, eye-opening seminar focused on what's really happening inside EVERY San Diego high school

🚨🚨 We have a teen survivor who is going to share her story - this is part of her healing with the hopes that no other child will experience what she did🚨🚨

The truth is unsettling:
Over 95% of students have been exposed to or approached about trafficking

Nearly 90% of high schools have reported cases connected to students

100% of schools report active recruitment-students being targeted, groomed, and exploited
This isn't about strangers in dark alleys.

It's happening between students. On campuses. Online. In everyday spaces.

Join us for a FREE Women’s Self-Defense Class at Gracie Barra Carlsbad. This class is designed to teach practical, street-ready self-defense techniques while helping women build confidence, awareness, and empowerment.

This event is open to all women in the community—no prior experience is necessary.

In addition to training, we’ll be collecting donations for a North County shelter, so your participation not only benefits you but also supports women in need.

We have 2 classes available for Women Only and Co-Ed classes everyday.

Self Defense Street Scenarios: This class focuses on self defense techniques for situations that happen on the streets. Would you know what to do:

If someone was mounted on top of you and punching you?
Picked you up from behind and trying to drag you into a car?
You are at a bar and someone grabs you by the wrist or pulls you in too close, what would you do?

All Women Jiu Jitsu Class: Jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting techniques, allowing a smaller person to defend against a larger opponent by using leverage and technique.

There were 10 warriors who felt confident in competing and signed up, and before they even stepped onto the mat, they were already champions.

They shone, inspired and made me cry with happiness and emotion.

No one wins alone. When you get on the podium, there are many people who get on with you. A whole team behind you, who encouraged, supported, trained and experienced all the preparation for the big day.

Yesterday, the 10 ladies got on the podium and gave it their all. Very proud of these girls, and of all our girls who helped and supported us…”
