Music Playground classes started the first week of September and students in the program were able to try different instruments and learned some music fundamentals. Here are a few students trying out instruments in the first week of class from Park Dale Lane, El Camino Creek, and Capri elementary.

We are bringing music back to Encinitas Union School District schools! Mondays at Park Dale Lane, Tuesdays at El Camino Creek, Wednesdays at Mission Estancia, Thursdays at Capri, and Friday at Paul Ecke Central Elementary. Sign up for MUSIC PLAYGROUND offered by musicYAY - sign up is through Right at School (After School Electives). Deadline to sign up is this Friday, August 26! Join us on our next Little Prodigies musical adventure on Sunday mornings 10am-11am. Registration closes September 2 and first class is September 11. Please take a look at www.musicyay.com for full schedule and registration information. Only $20 per class. Students ages 3-6 are welcome. We'll explore music notation, rhythm and counting, playing together, and different types of instruments (including but not limited to flute, clarinet, saxophone, brass horn, trumpet, percussion and piano). The kids have loads of fun while learning music fundamentals for a musical future 😀🎶
