The younger students also had options to learn an instrument such as recorder, nuvo jflute, clarineo, jsax, or the jhorn! Here are some of the excited music students from Paul Ecke Central Elementary 🎶

After students made their instrument selections, we started working on playing together as an ensemble. Learning to count, breathe, and play together as we cover the basics of music ❤️🎶

Students tried flutes, clarinets, brass horns, and even oboe (!) as seen here with our winds coach Mr. Keene Cheung showing a student at Capri elementary how to make a sound on the oboe! 🎶

Music Playground classes started the first week of September and students in the program were able to try different instruments and learned some music fundamentals. Here are a few students trying out instruments in the first week of class from Park Dale Lane, El Camino Creek, and Capri elementary.

Mondays at Park Dale Lane, Tuesdays at El Camino Creek, Wednesdays at Mission Estancia, Thursdays at Capri, and Friday at Paul Ecke Central Elementary.
