Parents of High School Seniors…

Is your student applying to a 4-year college or university? If so, this is an absolutely crucial time for them! College applications are due in the upcoming months with the CSU/UC Admission Deadline being Nov. 30! Not to worry though… I would absolutely LOVE to support them on this phase of their journey. I was formerly a Regional College Readiness Counselor and have helped countless students gain admittance into their #1 school. Beginning Wednesday, October 5th, I will be hosting a weekly group called Senior Sessions!

Senior Sessions in an 8 week course designed for ALL high school seniors planning to attend a four year college or university: This 8 week program supports and guides high school seniors through the college search and application process. Students will gain a clearer vision for their future as they develop a broader scope and understanding of colleges and universities, the application progress, as well as how to best emphasize their strengths and abilities. We’ll focus on: how to choose the right college for you, generate a balanced list of safety, match, and reach schools, plan backwards to meet application deadlines, and craft well thought out essays (for the personal statement and/or personal insight questions). Additionally, we’ll address the underlying fears that are often related to this next phase of life. We’ll also utilize Integra’s building blocks to ensure students are adding healthy coping mechanisms to their toolbox which will be vital in the days and months to come. These seniors will have a unique experience surrounded by like-minded peers, and parents will benefit from expert yet affordable college counseling!

*Private one-on-one college counseling sessions are also available if your student could benefit from additional support. Please contact me directly to learn more.*
