The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is an equal rights awareness group on the Emory & Henry College campus seeking to bring a positive change in the Emory community as well as the greater Southwest Virginia Community. GSA works to fulfill their mission by:

GSA functions as a social venue which brings GLBTQQA and straight persons together through various events, activities and meet

ings. GSA recognizes that real understanding comes from the channeling of discussion and welcomes free dialogue amongst all people. Supporting:
GSA strives to provide for those who feel they are in need of support by maintaining an open door policy for talk and providing outside resources locally, regionally and nationally.
