Congratulations to our latest English graduate to win a Fulbright! We are so proud of Abby's accomplishments.

THE CRUNCH THAT CONNECTS US ALL
The Utz slogan proved true for Abigail Jarrett of the Class of 2025. Abigail's journey to the nine months that she will spend in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant began when she became friends with Bosnian coworkers through her summer job at Utz. During a semester studying in Dublin, she visited Bosnia and Herzegovina and fell in love with the country and its people. With the help of the Office of Competitive Fellowships, she applied for the Fulbright to this country, was named a semifinalist, and this month learned that she won the award.

Congratulations to English major Claire Doll on her recent publication!

Today’s highlight: Claire Doll studies English education and creative writing at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She is editor of The English Department of Mount St. Mary's University’s literary magazine, Lighted Corners, and her short fiction and poetry have won several awards.
