🎉 WELCOME BACK, E-HAWKS! 💛

We are SO excited to welcome our students back for another amazing year at West Elementary!

Here are a few important times to help us get our mornings off to a smooth start:

⏰ Class begins: 8:05 AM
🍎 Breakfast begins: 7:30 AM
🚗 All other students may arrive: After 7:45 AM
🔔 Dismissal: 3:26 PM

⏰ On Time = Ready to Learn!

Being on time helps students start their day calmly, connect with their teachers and classmates, and be ready to learn from the very beginning.

🚗 A quick drop-off makes a big difference!
We know mornings can be busy, so please help us keep our drop-off line moving by having students ready to exit when you arrive. A quick and efficient drop-off helps keep traffic flowing and gets everyone safely into the building and ready for the day.

Thank you for partnering with us to make the start of each school day safe, smooth, and successful! 💛

📚✨ Ever wonder how the staff at West spend their summer? ☀️

Catching up on great books, of course! From the farm, on the water, to their favorite cozy reading spot (and everywhere in between), our teachers have been reading all summer long.

Did you know? According to Scholastic, children are much more likely to become frequent readers when they see the adults around them reading. Reading is contagious!

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, coach, or community member—every reader becomes a role model.

We love Kids Club!!!

BEFORE AND AFTERSCHOOL CHILDCARE

With school right around the corner, Kids Club Before & Afterschool is coming back to West Elementary! We have fun weeks planned with crafts and activities! Kids Club is available Monday - Friday for before and afterschool care, as well as snow days, no-school days, early outs, and late starts!

The EHawk Clothing Drive is going on NOW through this Saturday, August 15th!

Got the kids new EHawk gear and need to clean out the old stuff? Drop them off at our box located in the entry at your Fareway Stores Emmetsburg
All the clothing collected will be available for free to ALL students at Open House.
