We had such a great time on our summer overnight trip to Duluth, MN! ⚓️⛱️🌊

We experienced so much in our time there -- the friendships, memories, and places seen will be with us for years to come!

We enjoyed Great Lakes Aquarium (where we got to pet sturgeon and jellyfish!), walk on the Canal Park pier, see the Aerial Lift Bridge, explore the Maritime Museum and local shops, eat at "Grandma's", go swimming at the hotel pool, play board games, visit the University of Minnesota Duluth for an admissions session, tour of campus, and lunch on campus at Superior Dining, see Tweed Museum of Art, take a tour of Glensheen Mansion on Lake Superior, and experience the beauty and history of Duluth.

Thank you for attending, students -- we had a wonderful time in Duluth with you! 🌉

Wow! What a fun time we had with you all at 2026 STEM Camp - Wonders of the World! 🌎

We laughed, sang, danced, swam, experimented, built kaleidoscopes, rode the Queen II, visited the Emmet County Nature Center, made new friends, spent the night in the dorms on-campus, played team-building activities, and had the BEST time!

Thank you to all who attended and help make this event possible!

See you in the fall! 😄

Duluth, MN Overnight Summer Trip!
🌉 🐟 🛳️ ⚓️ 🛟
July 13-14, 2026

Enjoy scenic views of Canal Park and the Aerial Lift Bridge, visit the University of Minnesota Duluth, take a boat tour of Lake Superior, visit the Great Lakes Aquarium, and more!

Join us for our Summer Onboarding Day this summer, June 25, in Boone for your first-ever Talent Search event!

Ride the trains, enjoy lunch, and meet new friends! Transportation and food provided for free. Must be a Talent Search student who has just completed 5th-7th grades. Priority will be given to new Talent Search students.

Happy TRIO Tuesday!

This TRIO Tuesday, we're sharing about our summer STEM Camp event that happens each June.

This year's STEM Camp theme is Wonders of the World! 🌎
🌠🏞️🏕️🏜️🌌

Held on the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes, 70 middle school TRIO Talent Search students have the opportunity to stay overnight in the dorms for two nights with a roommate. This year's camp is June 2-4.

This event occurs every year in June, but we mix up the activities to keep it new and fresh!
This year's activities will include:

- Stargazing with a telescope ⭐️ 🔭
- Science experiments 🧪🔬
- Building and launching rockets 🚀
- Learning about natural disasters 🌪️
- Creating kaleidoscopes 💎
- Swimming at the RWC 🏊‍♀️
- A dance with a DJ 🪩
- A chance to experience the Iowa Lakes dorms! 🎒
Meals are provided. STEM Camp is free. Students must be in the Talent Search program.

Students who will have completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade by this summer are invited to attend!

Get ready for a fun, hands-on STEM summer adventure! Open to students that completed grades 6th-8th, participants will stay overnight in the Iowa Lakes dorms in Estherville, enjoy activities like swimming, dancing, and science experiments, and experience campus life while making new friends. Meals provided.
