Mud Pye, Karen Wolfe Family Child Care Home Mud Pye is an In-Home Day Care run by Karen Wolfe and Happy Helping Hands! Our motto is: "Back to basics!"
We are very family based.

We all sit together for breakfast and lunch and teach kids on how to treat the other kids with love and respect. We also have a friendly golden retriever that is normally kept outside while kids are here. We brush him and teach the kids other pet awareness stuff. Every week the kids learn a different letter. We teach them their numbers, colors, shapes, and how to recognize and spell their name.

We have story time, have the kids paint, and also learn about the different birds they can see at our bird feeders. We go on hikes, have a kiddie swimming pool, have a sandbox, and bikes for outside. We have a kitchen set and dress up clothes for imagination play. We also have blocks, cars, puzzles, and many more toys for all ages. We are currently a Star 2 with the Keystone Stars and are working towards a Star 3! We also participate in the CACFP(Child and Adult Care Food Program), so your children will get the proper nutrition here while eating healthy food! AGES
We accept infants(under 1) & up. We can do school pick-up or after school-pick up for kids of school-age. PRICE
The price is $3.50 an hour for kids that are in our care for 1-5 hours. For kids that are in our care 6-10 hours, it is $26.00 a day. If a kid is in our care for more than 10 hours a day, the price for the last hour or two will be raised to $3.50 an hour(it will be broken down quarterly). OTHER

Dear Folks,
We will be closing Mud Pye on March 14th, 2023. I have 2 parents that need child care. One little boy lives in Lisbon, Pine Grove, Emlenton area. His Mom travels to Boyers. She is looking for full time care for her 2 yr. 2 mon. old son. The other Mom of a 3 yr. 1 mon., old son. She travels from Argentine to Ford City. She just needs 2 days a week. They both would love their child to be watched by a stay at home Mom or a In Home Family Child Care.

If anyone is interested in running a day care, I have the supplies and answers. The region and you would benefit immensely. You may ask questions through here. More private inquires we will use messenger. Thank you!
