100% of donations to GambiaRising go directly to supporting students. That means our volunteer Coordinators must do their work after they complete their “day job”. When Lower River Region Coordinator Alieu Gaye‘s mother needed to go to the capital for surgery, he took leave from his teaching job to accompany her. And while she rested from surgery last week, our LRR budget for the new school year was finalized in Alieu’s remote office, at her bedside.
