Aikido Institute had a great time at the TAA Memorial Day Weekend Gasshuku in Tahoe. Josh's godan demo went well and Deborah sensei taught a great class on shiho-nage.

is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bernice Tom Shihan. A cherished alumni of our dojo and a pioneer of Iwama Aikido in California. May she rest in peace. 🕊️🕊️

After Saturday's class Aikido Institute showed up for Ōsōji (大掃除). Not a nook or cranny was ignored.

Thank you to all who were able to participate yesterday.

Ōsōji may happen once a year, but keeping our dojo clean is an important part of every day practice.
