Great things happen with great leadership, and we in Elysian Fields ISD are blessed!

Thank you to the team of Jackson Construction, Harris Craig Architects, and Project Manager Chad Ellis for delivering the best new school in East Texas! And, we also want to express our sincere appreciation to our EFISD school board, Superintendent Amy Dickson, and EFES Principal Dr. Kelly Cordray for your daily leadership and vision for EFISD!

We are one PROUD Jacket Family! And we're not done yet! Go Jackets! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Jacket Family,

As we prepare for the first day of school, the document below gives some very important information concerning the road construction.

We apologize for the timing of the road construction. It is not ideal, but if we all work together and have an abundance of patience, it will be ok.

Mornings will be two lanes, afternoon only one, as they work to widen the road and driveways. One of the biggest things to note is that when you leave the elementary, you must go the direction of the flow of traffic- even if it isn’t your normal route. You can then turn around, or find an alternate route.

Please drive slow, stay tuned for updates, and know that our only goal is to get your children in and out of the school safely. We are hoping for some additional presence with our DPS and Harrison County. We will give grace concerning tardies, and we ask for it in return.

It was a historic night for our community with the grand opening of our new Elysian Fields Elementary School! We are so grateful to all who made this dream a reality for our students and families!

We saw lots of smiling, happy faces in the building last night and we can't wait to greet our new EFES crew on Monday!

*UPDATE* -- We are experiencing some technical difficulties at the moment but will have our teacher lists out via Parent Square as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the delay.

ATTENTION EFES PARENTS:

Per Dr. Cordray, elementary school families will receive a message through Parent Square this morning at 9 a.m. letting everyone now their child's teacher for this year. If you DO NOT receive the message, you may stop by the NEW elementary school before noon Wednesday to check. Thank you and Go Jackets!
