Library Card Registration Contest hosted by Staff Council Executive Committee

September is National Library Card Sign-up Month and staff council invites the campus community to participate in a registration sign-up contest!

When is the contest?
It starts today!
Tuesday, September 20th – Thursday, September 29th

What do I need to do?
1. Sign up for your Elyria Public Library card at the north branch located right here on campus – 1st floor of the Bass Library
2. Email staff council you got your card

Is that it?
• Yep! You are officially entered into a raffle for one of 2 prizes.

What are the prizes?
• 1st runner up: $15 gift card for Commodore Books and More
• Grand prize: Taco Bar Lunch for you and your choice of 9 guests plus a $30 gift card for Commodore Books and More

How does the contest work? When will I find out if I won?
• We are shaking things up a bit and instead of drawing the entry winner right away we are going to do a reverse raffle! Beginning at noon on Friday, September 30th staff council will begin drawing entries from the raffle bin until every entry is drawn and the winner of the raffle is the final entry left in the bin. The final drawing will take place in the library and the winner will be notified by email. You do not need to be present to win.

What else do I need to know?
• Beginning September 19th and running through September 30th the first 10 people each day to sign up for a library card at the Elyria Public Library North Branch, located on the campus of LCCC, will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card!
• What if you are not one of the first 10 to sign up each day? Don’t worry we have you covered with a coupon for a free fountain drink at the LCCC Marketplace. Yep, that’s right just by signing up you get a free fountain drink!

Students, keep an eye on your MyCampus account this week as fall term Financial Pell Grant awards will be adjusted to reflect attendance in fall courses. If you registered for a course but attendance has not been verified yet, your grant award will be adjusted to reflect fewer credit hours. Once attendance is verified, your grant award will reflect the updated credit hours.
